Magister_Games is a Filipino Roblox player and the former owner and founder of defunct networks National Broadcasting System (formerly known as MPN, MBS, and TV5), World Television Network (formerly known as MBN and TSN), and Extreme. He is an eight-year ROBLOX veteran with two older accounts: "jops8965" (created on July 16, 2016) and "goldenfred8976" (created on July 30, 2016), and he created the "Magister_Games" account on July 18, 2018. He is known for frequent name changes and a lack of content on the networks he founded. Despite expressing little to no interest in running a network anymore, he is still actively involved in the community through RBS, which is the network of his friend AestheticEthan_16.

History[]

Before being introduced to the internet, Magister_Games lived a simple life in Manila, with no access to the internet, with YouTube being the only thing he could primarily access at the time when his mother took him to their office. He was introduced to ROBLOX by childhood friends in 2016 and primarily played obbies and survival games.

Magister founded the "Magister Productions Network" on December 5, 2018, with the name being a play on the Philippine television and radio network Radio Philippines Network. With a lack of efficient equipment and Magister's inexperience in the community, the network struggled to establish itself. Since then, the network had undergone numerous name changes, the first being Magister Broadcasting System before it was shortened to just its initials "MBS", and later the poorly received move to "TV5", which was followed by the final name change, National Broadcasting System, before the network was shut down on April 14, 2019.

Following a brief hiatus, Magister launched a new network on April 20, 2019, under the name World Television Network. While it had more content than the previous network he ran, it lacked ROBLOX-specific content. The network changed its name from "Magister Broadcasting Network" to "The Southeast Network," which was also poorly received, before reverting to the World Television Network name. However, the network was put on hold after Magister went for a two-month hiatus.

Returning on October 2, 2019, Magister officially shut down the World Television Network and launched Extreme, a channel inspired by SPIKE TV that targets the 18-30 male demographic. However, a month later, the network was transformed into a media company, Extreme Productions, which launched the Roblox version of Spike.

Magister's presence in the community would begin to decrease once the COVID-19 pandemic struck in 2020. He would later make a partial return to the community in 2021 as a journalist with RBS before resigning the following year. He later made his full return in 2023 with the comedy variety show Mga JAGGARRS, which inspired him to continue a shelved project from 2019 called Wowowillie.
